Off-spinner Raja Gode was the pick of the bowlers taking 4/32 in 11 overs while he got excellent support from slow left arm spinner Sagar Sule too as he also chipped in with 4/37 in 9.1 overs.

Batting first, Bohra Cricketers were all-out for a low score of 93/10 in as many as 51.5 overs. The bowlers did an excellent job as Bohra batsman played 51.5 overs at a run rate below 2. Slow left arm spinner Paras Shah bowled with excellent line and length troubling the batsman with his effective spin. Paras came up with envious bowling figures of 5/22 in 20 overs(5 maidens). In reply, Bohra Cricketers gave a fitting reply with the ball as they made the Dahisar Batsman struggle. Just one wicket away from a loss, Dahisar survived till the last over with just 1wkt left at 57/9 in 29overs.  Fast bowlers Umair and Nimish took 3 wkts each before the match ended in a draw. His dad made the whole nation swoon with his batting and went on to become the most successful Cricketer in the world. This 18yr old prodigy Arjun is definitely a talent of his own and should not be compared as a star kid or a cricketer known as Sachin Tendulkar’s son while playing professional cricket. Arjun is rather slowly but steadily creating a mark for himself and that is definitely a positive sign for the cricketing community. While his dad accomplished all the possible records with the bat, we certainly wish Arjun completes all the remaining records left with the ball as and when he grows up…

In a recent match played on 24th September between Cricket Club of India and Parel SC at the CCI ground, Parel SC won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, CCI declared their innings at 179/7 in 43 overs which is a fairly decent perfomance considering the touch pitch conditions to bat. Yash Jadhav & Sujit Nayak were the top scorers with 40 & 34* respectively while left-arm fast bowler Arjun Tendulkar definitely made the batsman trouble with his tight line and pace. Arjun came up with impressive bowling figures of 4/39 in 10.2 overs while left-arm spinner Atharva also bowled well chipping in with 2wickets. Even his skipper Gaurav Chavan said the same thing to Cricketgraph when we asked about his perfomance “Yes Arjun bowled really well and it was impressive”

In reply, Parel SC also batted strongly batting till the end of the game. Parel SC scored 150/5 in 32 overs before the end of the game’s play. Left-handed opener Pragnesh Kanpillewar scored a timely and a solid 73ball 60 (9fours) while Vicky Patil at no.5 remained unbeaten on 36*(54b). The match ended in a draw but it was Arjun’s perfomance with the ball and Pragnesh’s knock which became the highlight performances of the match.
