Played at the Oval Gorund, Gundecha Education Academy and MG Bhatia School took on each other where in Gundecha batting first gave a target of 198 runs. Eshaan Toshniwal batted really well as he scored more than half of his team runs with grit and confidence smashing a fluent 125 off 123 balls. Eshaan played some really nice shots and looked quite impressive while Rusabh Pandya also chipped in with 44 runs.

Defending a total of 199, spinner Zenith once again came to the rescue after a brilliant 7 wkts in his earlier match. Zenith came up with match winning bowling figures of 6/37 in 15 overs with 3 maidens as Gundecha Education Academy won the match by 78 runs.
Mafatlal CC electing to field first at Police Gymkhana may have regretted their decision as Mumbai Greater Police simply dominated with the bat. Sunil Patil opening the innings scored a majestic 141 off 218 balls (21 fours, 1 six) while that was not all. The batting feast continued for Mumbai Police as Mayur Sanap who came at no.3 top scored the innings with a fluent 155 off 239 balls smashing 20 boundaries. Both the players played proper test cricket knocks which had some really good shots. They also stitched a 266 run stand for the 2nd wicket as Mumbai Greater Police reached a commanding total of 415/10 in 11.4 overs. Amit Pandey was the pick of the bowlers taking 6/124 in 31.4 overs.


Mafatlal CC in reply are 171/7 with Harshad Khadiwale scoring 85 and Karan Nandey on 77* making it an all round performance as he also took 4 wkts with the ball.
In the 4th match of group A of Harris Shield tournament held under Mumbai School Sports Association, Vidya Mandir School, Dahisar demolished the opponents, i.e., Leelavati Podar School, Santacruz with a huge margin..!!
Batting first, Vidya Mandir School scored 226 with a 60 run knock by Yash Dhuri and then while bowling they were the absolute champions as they wiped off the entire Leelavati Podar team in just 66 runs..!!!

The pacer who led this tsunami is Rajvardhan Rao who grabbed 5 wickets in 4 overs & 11 runs..! His pace and accuracy created such a storm that not a single batsman could face his attack, leave alone scoring against his powerful deliveries.
And out of 5 wickets, 3 came as a hattrick. This is Rajvardhan’s 1st hattrick and the youngster has been applauded by audiences for the kind of fiery & accurate pace bowling displayed by him.

MIG CC after electing to bat first at SPCA Ground at Kalyan West were not able to manage a big total as they scored 122/7 in 20 overs. Defending a low total vs Singhania High School, Thane, it was Aarav Malhotra coming up with a sensational bowling spell taking 5 wkts for 2 runs in 3.2 overs with 2 maidens.

Aarav was simply spot on with the ball as he single handedly helped his team MIG win the match and defend a low total successfully. Singhania School were all out for 55 runs and MIG won with dominance while Aarav was declared ‘man of the match’ for his brilliant bowling spell.

SVIS Gorai after electing to bat first at SSCA Ground , Kalyan West notched up a healthy total of 171/1 in 20 overs. Opener Rushil Parkar who has been in great touch continued his consistent form scoring a yet another impressive 64* off 54 balls batting till the very end. What’s more he got excellent support by Sourish Deshpande who scored an aggressive 51 ball 83* (5fours , 4sixes) as both the boys stitched an unbeaten 151* run stand for the 2nd wicket.
Singhania High School Thane in reply were all out for 67 runs with Arnav Lad bowling an impressive spell of 4/19 in 3.1 overs and Aayush Makwana taking 3/11 in 3 overs.

Maskati CC after being made to bat first at Young Zoroastrian Ground notched up a good total of 324/4 in 44 overs. The openers gave a decent start but it was Parag Jadhav at no3 who changed the game with his brilliant hundred. Parag was in T20 made as he lit up the ground with a blazing 145 off mere 104 balls with 10 fours and 5 sixes to his name.
In reply, Koli Combined CC were all out for 182 runs with their bowlers doing a terrific job. Rajan Gupta took 3wkts being the pick of the bowlers while Parag Jadhav chipped in with 2 wkts with the ball too making it an all round performance helping Maskati win by 142 runs.
New Hind SC after electing to bat first at Dadkar Maidan were not able to post a threatening total. They were all out for 234 runs with attacking opener Karan Shah scoring a 63 ball 65 at the top of the order. The hard-hitting Karan smashed 10 fours and a six while Avdhoot and Akshay chipped in with 40’s.

Parkophene Cricketers in reply received a tought fight with the ball as New Hind bowlers did not allow them to win by bowling tightly. Parkophene fell short of just 3 runs in a thriller of a match where in all-rounder Sagar Mishra scored a valiant 54 at the middle order. Parikshit Valsangkar was the pick of the bowlers taking 4/77 with his leg breaks while the rest of the bowlers also did a good job.
New Hind SC qualify for the finals and now they have a big task in hand to face the powerful DY Patil team in the all important clash next weekend.

On the back of fifties by Omkar (60) and Amol Torvi (52), ESWA reached a total of 218/9 in 40 overs. However, the chase did not last for too long as Gaurang Namjoshi and Chetan Naik thrashed the bowlers with pure domination. Both the players were in T20 mode as Gaurang smashed a brutal 39 ball 86 while Chetan Naik scored an equally aggressive 51 ball 85 as SKN team won the match by 7wkts.
Gaurang Namjoshi and Chetan Naik adjudicated joint Man of the match for their quick fire knocks.
