Jash Ganiga has been one impressive player performing well in various tournaments. In the inter school match of Harris Shield between IES Bandra and IES Digambar Patkar, IES Bandra batting first scored a total of 345 runs in 45 overs with Jash Ganiga scoring a brilliant hundred. Jash played aggressive cricket right from the beginning as he went on to top score the innings scoring 138 off 109 balls. Aditya Parbhalkar also batted well scoring 76 runs.

IES Digambar Patkar in reply were all out for 107 runs with Aryan Desai taking 4/33. It was a big win by a margin of 238 runs for IES Bandra and it was certainly Jash being the standout performer in the match.
Played between Teleperformance and Nanavati at the New Hind Matunga, Teleperformances who had put up a strong show in their last match with the bat opted to bat first scoring 274 runs in their 1st innings with opener Jiniv Joshi top scoring with a classy 79 and Neil Narvekar at the middle order scoring 50 runs.

Left arm spinner Rahul Sawant who was amongst the top wicket takers in Kanga continued his form in Times too coming up with an impressive spell of 5/86 in 34.1 overs with 8 maidens. Skipper Sahil also chipped in with 3 wkts. Nanavati in reply scored 347 runs with their no.3 batsman Pranav Kela top scoring with 111 runs while Bhushan Shinde and Kushal Shah chipping in with half centuries. Teleperformances collapsed in the 2nd innings getting all out for just 121 runs as Rahul Sawant came up with another 5 wkts while Sahil this time came up with a fifer as both the bowlers came up with same bowling figures of 5/52.

Nanavati chased down the lead of 51 runs with ease as they won the match by 8 wkts.
The aggressive left hander has been amongst the runs since quite a time but this time he converted his innings into a very big score and that too at a crucial juncture when his knock helped his team qualify to the quarters.
Income Tax SP & Rec Club ‘A’ batting first notched up a total of 313 in 89.2 overs. Future Group in reply posted a mammoth total of 619/10 in 123.5 overs. Left-handed Sachin Yadav who scored a 158 vs AG in the previous match continued his good form scoring a brilliant 270* off 348 balls laced with 39 fours opening the innings. An innings of pure grace, timing and composure as he single handedly brought his team into a commanding position. Apart from him, Shashikant Kadam chipped in with 69 runs.
Future Group won the match on 1st innings lead and with this win they will face Nirlon SC in the quarter-finals for a three day match in the last eight stage of the tournament from Dec 11 to Dec 12.
Siddhesh lad’s batting is 9 out of 10 times solid like a war tank and you can rely on him when chips are down. Siddhesh who is also a Mumbai Indians player in the ongoing Ranji match showed that he is the “crisis man’ stepping in when Mumbai lost 4 quick wickets.
Mumbai after opting to bowl first at Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune received a 1st innings trail of 352 runs on the back of opener Swapnil’s 101. Mumbai team who were cruising at one point were all off a sudden from 143/2 to 181/5 losing quick wickets. Skipper Lad who was batting at no.3 anchored the innings and batted with the wagged tail scoring a crucial 93 off 180 balls (13 fours, 1 six) while Shubham Ranjane who came at no.7 supported skipper as well as his team with an unbeaten 54*to take Mumbai to a respectable total of 273 runs in their 1st innings.
Maharashtra batting in their 2nd innings have a lead of 187 runs with 5 wkts in hand while the match where Mumbai was about to lose its plot is now evenly poised.
Don Bosco team taking on Bombay Scottish at Cross Maidan was a match full of twists, turns and close competetions. Cross Maidan which is itself bustling with exciting matches had this one match which kept everyone on toes. Anuj Giri’s 5/37 and quickster Aditya’s 3 wkts left Don Bosco Matunga to struggle managing to post only 147 runs on the board.

However, Don Bosco Matunga which boasts of some really promising bowlers were in no mood to allow the opposition to win the game easily. Both the spinners Yash Kripal (3/18) and Chris D Brito (4/30) came up with match winning bowling performances along with Ritesh’s 3 wkts to reduce Bombay Scottish to just 101 runs all out as they steered Don Bosco to a memorable win by 46 runs.
Chris who shifted from Virar to Mahim so that he can focus on cricket certainly seems to be getting the dividends for his hard work.
Played between Anjuman-E-Islam School and Parle Tilak Vidyamandir, Marathi, Anjuman school batting first notched up a total of 313/5 in 45 overs. Musheer Khan who is already touted as one of the promising youngsters to lookout for stayed to his reputation as he scored almost half of the team runs smashing a confident 154 off 106 balls. It was an innings of fine strokeplay and domination as Musheer opening the innings took Anjuman School to a strong position. Harsh Dubey also batted well scoring 60 runs.

Parle Tilak Vidyamandir in reply were bundled out for 66 runs in which Musheer contributed with the ball too taking 3 wkts for 7 runs.
Anjuman School won the match by a margin of 257 runs and it was certainly Musheer standing out with his performance.
Played between Space Sports Club and Dena Bank at DPC Matunga, Space Sports Club winning the toss elected to field first restricting Dena Bank to 204 runs all out. Bharat Meher with 4 wkts and Ravindra Jadhav with 3 wkts were the pick of the bowlers while opener Sagar Chabbria (67) top scored for Dena Bank.

Space SC in reply notched up a massive total of 417 runs as Japjeet Singh Randhawa and Viraj Jadhav steadied the ship for their team. Japjeet coming at no.3 scored a fluent 115 (14 boundaries) while Viraj who came at no.6 made it an all round show by chipping with the bat too scoring 68 runs (9 fours). Japjeet who is a powerful hitter ensured a match winning knock for his team as it was his ton which boosted the total to cross the 400 run mark.
Dena Bank were 60/2 before the end of the game’s play where Space SC won the match on 1st innings lead.
Played at the MIG Ground between Adani Electricity and Repro India, Repro India winning the toss elected to bowl first restricting Adani to 275 runs all out in 94.3 overs. Harshal Bari (82) and Mehul Gokani (59) were the highest scorers for Adani as they both steadied the ship with their crucial knocks. Fast bowling all-rounder Rohit Yadav was the pick of the bowlers coming up with impressive bowling figures of 6 of 82 runs. Rohit was spot on with his line and length as he dismantled Adani’s batting line up.


Repro India Ltd in reply batted really notching up 357/8 in 120 overs. Parthiv Mehta at the top order scored 58 but it was their lower order consisting of Yash Mahale (57*) at no.9 and Rohit Yadav (113*) at no.8 rescuing their team’s innings. Rohit & Yash stitched a brilliant unbeaten partnership of 125* for the 8th wicket as Repro came in a commanding position.
Rohit owned the match with his all-round performance as Repro india won the match on 1st innings lead.
Gyan Kendra School, Andheri batting first scored a decent total of 237/7 in 45 overs. Two young guns Ashay Jadhav and Raj Kanse were impressive with the bat as they not only stitched a good partnership but played their innings very confidently. Ashay came up with an impressive 102 while Raj fell 10runs short of a deserving ton getting dismissed on 90.



SVIS chembur in reply were all out for 90 runs in 16.3 overs as Gyan Kendra’s two promising bowlers Nayan Bajaj and Smeeth Cooper came up with match winning 5 wkt hauls. Nayan Bajaj took 5/31 while Smeeth Cooper took 4/26 as Gyan Kendra school won the match by 147 runs.
The boy who scored a record 4 double centuries in 2016/17 Giles Shield has not stopped since then scoring runs for IES VN Sule consistently. In the latest edition of Harris Shield where IES VN Sule Guruji took on IES Mulund, it was Ved stealing the show all the way.

IES VN Sule after electing to bat first posted a defendable total of 296/7 at the Islam Gymkhana Ground in 45 overs. Opening the innings, Ved took on the bowlers with superlative ease as he slammed an aggressive ton scoring 142 off 108 balls. The rest of the batsman batted around him as he took his team to a very healthy total.
IES Mulud were 181 all out with two half centuries from Swayam Waghmare and Mahin Chopra. The bowlers did an excellent job as IES VN Sule won the match by 115 runs.
