BARC Staff Club after electing to bat first at the Bharat CC ground managed to score 250/9 in 45 overs. Vikas Pol with 69 runs and Kalpesh Keni with 53 runs were the highest scorers for their team. From ICICI, Karan Sonavale, Kiran and Aniket chipped in with 2 wkts each.
ICICI Bank on the other hand were all out for 237 runs despite a brilliant fight by Karan Sonavale. Karan coming at no.4 scored a solid 87 off 93 balls (6 fours) waging a lone battle as he lacked support from the other end.
Barc Staff Club won the match by 13 runs while Karan’s all-round show did proved to be the highlight performance of the match.
RR Education batting first at Islam Gymkhana notched up a massive total of 174/2 in 15 overs vs SVIS Gorai. Palak Dharamshi with 51* was the highest scorer as she upped the run rate with his quickfire knock hitting some brilliant shots.
SVIS Gorai in reply managed to score only 74/4 in 15 overs where in Palak Dharamshi with 4/37 was the pick of the bowlers taking all the 4 wkts which SVIS lost. Palak simply owned the match with his all-round performance as RR Education won the match by 98runs.
Teleperformance after being made to bat first at the Central Maidan Thane scored 286/5 in 29 overs where in 68 runs were penalty runs awarded to Teleperformances. All the batsman from top to middle order chipped in with 40’s and 30’s while they lacked any batman crossing crossing half century.
Datamatics on the other hand managed to score 193/3 in 33 overs where in Dishan Rane opening the innings scored a brilliant 106*. Dishan remained unbeaten till the end in his run a ball ton smashing 9 fours and 3 sixes.
Teleperformances won the match by 93 runs while Dishan’s 106* remained the highlight performance of the match.
CIPLA after being put to bat first at the Kamat Ground (Dadar) managed to score 245/9 in 43.3 overs. Bipin Waghela coming at no.3 scored an aggressive 82 off 70 balls laced with 7 boundaries. Bipin brought back the positive momentum for CIPLA while also received good support from A.Patil who scored 65 runs off 63 balls (5 fours).
AIR India in reply were all out for 185 runs in 39.4 overs as CIPLA bowlers did an excellent job. A Desai with 3/30 was the pick of the bowlers while Bipin who scored 82 runs also chipped in with 2 wickets alongwith J, Mali (2/26).
CIPLA won the match by 60 runs and qualify for the semi finals of the Times Shield Tournament ‘19
Sanika who has been scoring runs as well as taking wickets consistently in the Manoramabai Tournament continued to impress this time with a blockbuster all-round performance. RR Education batting first scored 135/2 in 15 overs with Sanika Chalke opening the innings top scored with a stylish 101. Sanika took on the bowlers with confidence covering every corner of the ground with her attacking batting style reaching her hundred in 54 balls laced with 20 fours.

CNM School in reply were bundled out for 35 runs in 11.3 overs with Sanika Chalke being the pick of the bowlers taking 6/18. Sanika was spot on with the ball troubling the batters with her impressive spin as RR Education won the match by 100 runs.
Played at the Islam Gymkhana Ground, Shardashram Vidyamandir English School Dadar batting first scored a massive 191/1 in 15 overs. Opening the innings Aanchal Valanju who scored a 46 ball ton in 2018 & usually is known for her firebrand batting style tore apart the bowlers with disdain going on to score a brilliant 130 off 56 balls. Her innings was a display of pure flamboyance as she smashed some brilliant fours and sixes at a strike rate of 250.00+

RR Education in reply managed to score only 67/4 in 15 overs, thanks to some tight bowling by the Shardashram Girls.
Shardashram School win the semis by 125 runs and qualify into the finals of the tournament.
Johnson & Johnson after being made to bat first at the Sachivalay Gymkhana managed to score 144/7 in 20 overs. The top order players lost wickets quickly but crucial 40’s by N Shivalkar and Rohan Jadhav chipped in with crucial 40’s at the middle order.
RIKA Global once again chased down the score with superlative ease thanks to their aggressive opener Aakash Patil. Aakash went on to score a quickfire 85* off 49 balls at a strike rate of 173.47 as RIKA Global won the match by 9 wkts and 5.3 overs to spare.
Played at the Rajkot Railway Cricket Ground, Jamnagar District C.A electing to bat first scored 320/10 in 87.5 overs. Dev Dand with 5/71 in 28.5 overs & 6 maidens was the pick of the bowlers while Fenil Soni chipped in with 2 wkts.
Kachch Rural Dist.CA in reply managed to score 350/9 in 90 overs as opener Fenil Soni went on to score a elegant 172* off 220 balls. Fenil smashed 18 fours and 1 six as he kept the scoreboard ticking hitting some really impressive shots despite lacking support from the other end.

Even though Jamnagar District Association got back into the game and won the match in 2nd innings, it was Fenil from kachcch team with 172* and 4 wkts who grabbed all the attention with his all-round performance.
All Saints High School after opting to bat first at the All Saints High School Ground were all out for 148 runs in 22.2 overs. They had their batsman chipping in with 20’s and 30’s with the likes of Moksh, Tushar Ansh & Raj, but a good bowling spell by medium pacer Nikhil Dhotre who took 5/31 proved to be crucial for DMC school.
Defending a low total of 149 runs, the all Saints bowlers did a terrific job of restricting the opposition to 110 runs in 26.4 overs. Yuvraj Vagal’s spell of 5/30 in 7.4 overs proved to be the turning point in the game while he also got great support from Ayush Andure and Ansh Chavan who chipped in with 2 wkts each.
All Saints High School won the match by 38 runs and successfully defended a low total on the back of their strong bowling performance. All Saints school now progress to the next round of H.T Bhandary challenge trophy.
The 26yr old left-handed batsman is certainly rising up the ranks as he continues to impress with the bat. Wicket-keeper batsman Harmesh Somaiya who was amongst the top scorers in the C Div Kanga with 3 half centuries again played a knock which defines a lot about a class of a batsman.
Jamnagar District Association after electing to bat first at Railway Cricket Ground, Rajkot made a massive total of 491 runs thanks to a impressive 272* by Divyaraj Chauhan. Rajkot Div Sports Association were all out for 147 runs in 51.1 overs but there was only one batsman fighting it out alone.

Harmesh opening the innings scored a solid 101 off 147 balls laced with 18 fours at a time when only one batsman apart from him managed to score in 2 figures. Even though the match did not go in his team’s favor, Harmesh won the hearts of many with his brave batting performance for Rajkot Division Sports Association.
This is not the 1st time Harmesh has played a rescuing knock, in 2018 he played a similar sort of knock scoring 73 opening the innings taking Young Maharashtra team to 127/9 and helping the match end in a draw from nowhere.
