CPL 2021 stepped into its fourth day as Swami Vivekananda International School locked horns with Cricfit Academy in a U-16 game at the Kandivali East. Swami Vivekanand has been playing consistently well throughout CPL 2021 and they once again produced a dominant performance to route Cricfit Academy.
Opting to bat first, Swami Vivekananda had the worst start possible losing opener Krish Kanavade in the first ball of the match. Reeling at 0 for 1, another opener Pranay Kapadia tried to shift gears hitting a couple of boundaries and Cricfit Academy struck twice in quick succession to have that batting side at 28 for three.
Aaditya Naik stars for Swami Vivekananda in CPL 2021
While many predicted that it was the end of the road for Swami Vivekananda, Aaditya Naik and Amit Jaiswal shared a crucial partnership to steer their side out of any danger. They added 59 runs for the fourth wickets before Amit walked back after a well-made 19 runs knock.
Arnab Alam tried to keep a check on the scoreboard with four wickets but Aaditya Naik seemed to be in a different mood alongside Advait Lotlikar. They struck everything at their disposal to post a challenging total of 155 runs at the end of 20 overs with Advait remaining unbeaten on 48 off 38 balls while Advait chipped in with a quickfire 22 off just 11 deliveries.

Played on Fatima Cricket Ground at Vidyavihar Mumbai, Royal Tigers Blue opting to bat first posted a total of 155/8 in 20 overs. A total of 150+ though not a huge one but always gives a little psychological edge to cross the 150 run mark. Opener Anuj Goyal top scored with a solid 41 while rest of the batters chipped in with cameos. The bowler who invited attention from the opposition was Sunil Punjabi who bowled a disciplined spell sticking to the basics as he returned with impressive bowling figures of 2/13 in 4 overs. Kunal Kerkar also bowled well taking 2/21 in 4 overs.
Chasing 156, Rising Phoenix crossed the victory line with 4 balls to spare winning the match by 5 wickets. No.3 batsman Sanket Sinha who top scored with 49 runs stitched two crucial stands, one with the opener Jeetu (25 off 20 balls) & second a 66 run stand with Sunny Sharma (30 off 18 balls) to ensure a smooth chase.

The Cricfit Premier League ( CPL ) continued its scale of matches on Day 3 as in the U19 department it was SD Cricket Growth taking on the SY Cricket Academy at the Thakur Cricket Stadium in Kandivali. SD Cricket Growth completely outplaying the SY Cricket Academy as they thumped them by a margin of 24 runs.
SY Cricket Academy skipper Hussain Shaikh won the toss and elected to bowl first as openers of SD Cricket Growth Jash Ganiga and Dhruv Thakkar gave them the perfect start as they notched up an 85-run stand for the first wicket. Following the dismissal of Dhruv Thakkar on 44, it was Aryan Patni who scored a quickfire 27* off 13 deliveries which included 2 fours and 1 six helped the SD Cricket Growth academy reach a target of 140/5 at the end of 20 overs.
Danish Choudhary’s 3-Fer Helps SD Cricket Growth Restrict SY Cricket Academy on 116 in CPL
Abhay Patel was the pick of the bowlers from SY Cricket Academy with 2 wickets to his name whereas Saksham Rawat and Hussain Shaikh pick 1 wicket each. In the aftermath, SY Cricket Academy had a disastrous start as they lost both their openers in the first over of the innings for no score on the board. Followed by which, they were brought down to 49/4 at the end of the 10 over mark, with 101 runs to score in the last half of the innings with 4 wickets down, SY Cricket Academy looked in all sorts of trouble.
The struggle continued as apart from Keyur Trivedi who struck a knock of 39 runs, none of the other batsmen got going as in the end they could only manage 116 with SD Cricket Growth winning the match by 24 runs with Danish Choudhary being the star bowler for the SD Cricket Growth side as he picked up 3 wickets for 20 runs in his 4-over spell.

Today, the Real Yuva Arjun Cricket Academy U19 took on the Cricfit Academy U19 in Cricfit Premier League (CPL) 2021.
The Real Yuva boys batted first and posted a competitive total of 165 runs which was enough to secure them a crucial win in the tournament. The opening pair of Ajit Yadav and Salil Nagvekar gave their side a flying start. The duo put on an impressive 50 runs opening stand and scored all around the ground in CPL 2021.
Once the openers departed it was Aniket Singh and Abhishek Joshi that moved the innings forward and helped their side posted a total above 150. Joshi was the star with the bat for Real Yuva as he scored 41 runs in just 25 balls at a strike rate of 164. For the Cricfit Academy, Vedhant Shah was the most successful bowler at he picked 3 wickets and gave away 32 runs in his 4 overs spell.

Chasing 166, Cricfit academy failed to score freely and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Kush Karia tried his first and played a fine knock of 55 runs and was the top scorer for his team by a big margin.
Aradhya Shinde was outstanding with the ball as he turned the match in his 4 overs spell and picked 4 wickets for just 15 runs. Eventually, the Real Yuva boys were just too clinical on the day and won the match easily by 38 runs in CPL 2021 to take one step closer to qualifying for the playoffs.

In the first league match of Santosh Sports Cricket Academy in Kalyan vs GM Cricket Academy, it was all round performance by Darshan Rathod which helped his team win in a commanding manner by 9 wickets. Little champ Darshan not scored a quickfire 36 runs but also chipped in with an economical spell of 3/13 in 4 overs.
In the second league match played between Sanjeevani Cricket Academy vs RG Sports Club Thane, Sanjeevani Cricket Academy won the match by 10 wkts in a dominating fashion. Anish Tambe bamboozled the batsman with a mesmerizing spell of 4 wickets in 2 overs conceeding 0 runs. It was his promising performance which helped earn man of the match award.

Swami Vivekananda International School U-12 continued their dominance in the ongoing CPL 2021 to beat Cricfit Academy U-12 at the Thakur Village Cricket Stadium in Kandivali East. Bowling first, they restricted Cricfit Academy to 74 runs before chasing down the target in just 10.4 overs with eight wickets to spare.
Cricfit Academy, who was coming from the back of a defeat, were looking for a brisk start to set the tone of the tournament. However, they once stumbled as Aayaan Sood was back in the hut scoring only runs leaving his side just at 13 for 1 in the fourth over.
Swami Vivekananda International register a convincing win in CPL 2021
Swami Vivekananda pressed hard after tasting the first blood bowling the right areas giving no opportunity for the batters to get away. Although Evyaan and Ram added 49 runs for the second wicket, they took 84 deliveries and Cricfit Academy never managed to free the gears. The bowlers collectively bowled well setting up a target of only 75 runs.
It was a cakewalk for the Swami Vivekananda International School U-12 side during the run chase. Openers – Arjun Lolitkar and Hrishikesh Naik added 51 runs for the first wicket in just 7.5 overs to set the tone. Arjun, in particular, was the attacker of the two finding the boundaries with ease giving Cricfit Academy no chase to bounce back in the game.
Although Evyaan managed to get the better of Hrishikesh but it was too late to bounce back in the game from there. Arjun remained unbeaten on 35 runs from 27 deliveries with the help of seven boundaries to take his side home without any further hiccups.
This victory will give Swami Vivekananda International School a massive boost going further in CPL 2021.

The Cricfit Premier League ( CPL ) continued its scale of matches on Day 4 as in the little master’s department it was the U14s match up with Real Yuva Arjun Academy taking on the Shivai Academy at the Thakur Cricket Stadium in Kandivali. Where Real Yuva Arjun Academy’s top notch bowling efforts helped them defeat the Shivai Academy by 21 runs.
It all started at the toss as Real Yuva Arjun Academy won the toss and elected to bat first. A decision will which fell in their favour as openers Shreyansh Rai and Yash Haniga put up 47 runs in the powerplay. After which it was Arjun Kale who stabilized the innings with his patient knock of 37 runs helping them reach a score of 137 runs at the end of 20 overs with Hemant Gowda of Shivai Academy being the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 4 wickets in his 4 over spell.
CPL 2021: Anas Khan’s 50 Against Real Yuva Arjun Academy In Vain
In the aftermath, Shivai Academy lost yesterday’s star performer Aayush Geete for a duck after which Aaryan Tamatta held the fort until he too was dismissed for 19. In the end, it was just Anas Khan who got the innings going as he crossed the 50 run mark.
Not long until Anas Khan too lost his wicket in the most unfortunate fashion as he was run out while batting with the tail. Today in Cricfit Premier League (CPL) 2021 the RNCA Don Bosco Matunga faced Celebration Sports Club. The much was expected to be close RNCA Don Bosco Matunga bowlers made the match completely one side.
Batting first Celebration Sports Club kept losing wickets and were unable to post a substantial total on the board. Aayush Sawant was virtually unplayable as he picked 4 wickets and conceded just the 11 runs in his 4 overs spell.

Their opener Aarav Advani was their highest run-scorer as he made a contribution of 17 runs. Apart from Sawant, Aditya Tarwankar and Prahlad Iyer picked 2 wickets each.
Meanwhile, RNCA Don Bosco Matunga made light work of the total and stormed to victory by 10 wickets. Their two opening batsmen Aditya Parulekar and Rudra Phadnis chased down the target of 76 runs in just 8 overs. Parulekar remained unbeaten on 25 whereas Phadnis was the aggressor and made 26 runs in 22 balls as their side registered a victory in CPL 2021.

Played at Fatima Cricket Ground in Mumbai, Avengers XI after being put to bat first were reduced to just 106 runs all out in 20 overs. Thanks to Harshad Patkar’s unbeaten 30* at no.8 which helped the team reach the three figure mark to defend the total. Apart from him, none of the batters were able to convert their scores into double digits. The bowler who was responsible for this damage was Vishal Kshatriya who held his own from one end to provide timely breakthroughs. Vishal returned with amazing bowling figures of 4/20 in 4 overs much to the delight of his team.
Golden Wings in reply chased down the score in just 13.2 overs winning the match by 4 wkts. After a poor opening start, Vishal who came at no.4 contributed with the bat too scoring 29* off 23 balls. Vishal was nicely supported by the experienced Umang Parikh who scored a quickfire 23 off 12 balls.

Played at the picturesque MIG Cricket Club in Bandra, OIS Blasters chose to bat first after winning the toss putting up a more than decent total of 187/5 in 20 overs. Even though it was a shaky start with 2/33 at the end of the first powerplay, the late burst by Rishi Pilani at no.4 ensured their team reached a decent total. Rishi scored 43* off 22 balls (7 fours) & accelerated just at the right time to get things going for his team. From the bowlers, Anand Thakkar with 2/19 in 2 overs was the pick of the lot.
Chasing 188 in a T20 is always a difficult task especially when the wicket starts to change in the 2nd half. Roaring Lions who lost their openers early got back into the game with a brilliant partnership of 128 runs for the 4th wicket between Mehul Ratanghayka (51* off 43) and Sundaresh Subramanian who played a blinder of a knock. Sundaresh almost helped his team cross the victory line scoring a fabulous 80 off mere 35 balls, a knock which consisted 8 humungous sixes at a strike rate of 228.57. However, Sundaram got dismissed in the 3rd last ball of the match which resulted in Roaring Lions losing the match by mere 2 runs. Roaring Lions managed to reach 185/4 in 20 overs.
