Tennis Elbow: L๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฒ๐ฅ๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ข๐๐ฅ
โโโ
๐ง Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylalgia) typically involves pain in the region of the lateral elbow, which is where the common tendon for the wrist extensor muscles attaches. Like other tendon issues, resistance training appears to be helpful in many cases for both reducing painful symptoms and improving the work capacity of the tendon. Here are several strategies that you can try if you are currently experiencing pain in this region.
1๏ธโฃRadial Nerve Mobilization: The radial nerve runs through the extensor compartment of the forearm and may be associated with tennis elbow type pain. The specific movement shown here will put the radial nerve on tension and can be a useful technique for decreasing any nerve sensitivity in the region.
.
2๏ธโฃWrist Extensor Curls: Move through the full range of motion, which will work the wrist extensors both concentrically and eccentrically. Shoot for 3 sets of 6-12 repetitions.
.
3๏ธโฃForearm Supinator Curl: This exercise will target the supinator muscle, which also attaches at the lateral elbow. Perform 3 sets of 6-12 repetitions.

Another all-rounder Tanush Kotian who came at no.8 played a blinder of an innings smashing an unbeaten 82* off 64 balls (7 fours, 3 sixes) stitching another 85 runs for the 6th wicket with Sujit Nayak & taking the team total to 311/8 in 48 overs.

A combination of robust technique and clean strokeplay is what makes left handed Akhil Herwadkar the batsman he is over the years. In the recent practice match played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, he just exhibited right amount of qualities he possesses as a top order batsman.

Chasing 247 vs Team C in which hard hitting all-rounder Aman Khan top scored with crucial 65 runs, it was definitely going to be a task for Team B to chase down the total. Aakarshit Gomel (45 runs) and Akhil Herwadkar opening the innings provided an excellent platform for the chase stitching 92 runs in 19.5 overs. The opening combination of right hand and left hand worked well for Team B as both the openers laid a perfect foundation.

Akhil on the other hand continued his good start anchoring the chase with a match winning knock of 116*in 131 balls laced with 10 fours and 3 sixes. Akhil was nicely supported by Chinmay Sutar who scored a 48 ball 50 in 106 run stand with Herwadkar.
