In the match played between Dinesh Salunkhe Cricket Academy vs Mahim Youngsters Cricket Club at Karnatak SA, Cross Maidan, Mahim Youngsters won the toss and opted to bat first. However, Mahim Youngsters faced a batting collapse with none of their top 7 batters managing to score above 20. Mrudul’s 22 at no.8 being the highest score as Ayush Ghadge ran through the opposition with his smart bowling. Ayush provided timely breakthroughs not allowing the opposition team to settle down as he returned with excellent bowling figures of 5/34 in 7.3 overs.
Dinesh Salunkhe Cricket Academy in reply chased down the score with ease courtesy a quick unbeaten half century by Harsh Salunkhe (54* off 24 balls).

In the other match played at National CC, Cross Maidan, ithink Sportz opting to bat first were bundled out for 88 runs in 24.5 overs. Lawas Cricket Academy bowlers bowled really well with Kaustubh Chaudhari being the pick of the lot taking 4/24 in 5.5 overs. Kaustubh was well supported by other bowlers like Vardhan and Ronak who took 3wkts & 2 wkts respectively.
Chasing 89 looked like a mere formality as Lawas Cricket Academy chased down the score with in mere 14.1 overs. Opener Prem Naik took the responsibility of finishing the match in his hands as he scored a well crafted 61* off 48 balls laced with 11 fours and 1 six.

Apollo CC after being put to bat first at Parsee Gymkhana Ground, Marine Lines posted 150/7 in 20 overs. Divyang at no.3 scored a quick 25 ball 40 while Vignesh Kharghe coming at no.6 top scored scoring an unbeaten 46* off 32 balls (2 fours, 3 sixes). Young Mohmeddan bowlers did a fairly good job of keeping the batsman in check with Sanket Pande (2/16 in 4 overs) and the experienced Kadir Patel (2/23 in 4 overs) being the pick of the lot.
Young Mohmeddan CC suffered a big blow as their dangerous opener Jay Bista got dismissed for a nought but it was 92 run stand between opener Adeeb Usmani and Prathamesh Pawar which brought the team back into the game. Adeeb scored a solid looking 46 off 54 balls while Prathamesh Pawar played the attacking role en-route his 58* off 39 balls (7 fours). Not to forget, Kadir Patel’s crucial cameo of 22* off 10 balls down the order also played a crucial role as Young Mohmeddan CC crossed the victory line with one over to spare.

The former U-16 Mumbai captain, Pushkar Sharma , who is presently residing in Kenya gets his maiden call in the African Premiere League to be held in Kenya. He was bagged in by the Eldoret Elephant franchise and will be looking to cement some runs behind his back.
Pushkar had topsy turvy like career in the past few years. He had gone through various challenges after his father left in 2017. Today Pushkar has got a great opportunity for to fulfill his father’s dream of witnessing him grow up as a cricketer. In March 2021, Pushkar got a maiden call to play in African Premier League.
The tournament will begin from 25th March and is likely to end on 10th April. It will be held in the Ruaraka Sports Club featuring a double round-robin phase and a final on Sunday. The tournament is organised by the Nairobi Provincial Cricket Association, an affiliate of Cricket Kenya.
Six teams will take part in the tournament, representing various counties in the country: Nairobi Lions, Thika Hippos, Eldoret Elephants, Nakuru Leopards, Mombasa Rhinos, and Kisumu Pythons.
It is the first tournament cricket since the outbreak of Covid-19, providing match practice for upcoming T20 World Cup qualifying and Challenge League action.

Delhi is one more city of India alongwith the likes of Mumbai where Cricket is played on a grand scale across various levels. There are en-number of grassroot level, club level, local level and corporate level matches played daily on various cricket grounds of Delhi. But as we know, most of the matches do not have any video footage/highlights captured neither are they covered through mainstream media. This results in a lot of talented players, interesting moments and impressive performances missing out on getting a good platform.
However, Cricketgraph has taken a small leap in digitizing grassroot cricket by signing up as an official video highlights partner with Citiskape Mediacom which is hosting a corporate cricket tournament in Delhi organized by Citiskape Sports. PCF Cup will be played in T20 Format at Genesis Public School Cricket Ground in Noida and Cricketgraph will provide video match highlights for all their 25 matches in the tournament.
Mr. Manoj Attri (Director at PCF & Citiskape Mediacom) shared with Cricketgraph “This is a welcome initiative to improve the quality of cricket in Delhi. Now players can see themselves on the big screen and that feeling is really different which cannot be expressed. Played at 40+ Belapur Sports Association Cricket Ground in Navi Mumbai, AK Sports KCA opting to bat first posted a really commanding total of 215/4 in 20 overs. Both the openers Khalid Shaikh and Pankaj Patil (55 off 46 balls) gave a brilliant start with an opening stand of 125 runs in mere 12.2 overs. Khaild Shaikh was the top scorer for his team smashing a quickfire 74 runs off mere 40 deliveries hitting 6 fours and 5 sixes. Khaild with his aggressive batting changed the course of the game certainly deserving the tag “Hell of a Cricketer” while he was supported by batters from the other end.
PPCA Ghansoli Boys in reply could only manage 152/7 in 20 overs as none of their batters could convert their starts into a big score. The bowlers really bowled well with Kajesh Yadav (2/15 in 4 overs) & Ajit Patil (2/22 in 4 overs) being the pick of the lot.

RBCA after opting to bat first at Karnatak S.A, Cross Maidan posted a healthy total of 260/2 in 40 overs. Opening the innings, Sameep Misal scored a brilliant innings of 141* off 115 balls smashing 18 fours and 1 six with a healthy strike rate of 122.61. Sameep was well supported by Krish (29 runs) , Harsh Aghav (28 runs) & Ayush Sawant (54* off 36 balls) with whom he stitched crucial partnerships.
Ageas Dilip Vengsarkar Cricket Academy in reply managed to score 231/8 in 40 overs with top scores by Tushar Singh (92 off 203 balls) and Priyanshu yadav (57* off 67 balls). From the bowlers, Likhit Kadam (2/22) and Ayush Sawant (2/46) were the pick of the lot.

In the match between Yuva Cricket Academy and Titans Cricket Academy at National CC, Cross Maidan, Yuva Arjun Cricket Academy after being put to bat first scored 205/9 in 40 overs. Siddant Rai (39 runs) and Aarush Nainwad (34 runs) were the top scorers for the team.
Titans Cricket Academy in reply were all out for 105 runs with opener Bhushant Sawant top scoring with 41 runs. The bowlers did an excellent job with Nikhil Giri being the pick of the lot with bowling figures of 3/18 in 6 overs. Apart from him, Adarsh Yadav with 3/22 was the 2nd best of the lot.

Mumbai: Title-contenders and last edition runners-up Souvenir Cricket Club defeated Muslim Sports Club by 6 wickets in a quarter-final match of the 71st Nawab Salar Jung Invitation T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by Islam Gymkhana under the auspices of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), and played at the Parsee Gymkhana ground, Marine Drive.
Brilliant bowling performances from Khaizar Dafedar (5 for 22) and Varun Joijode (3 for 25) helped Souvenir CC who elected to field, restrict Muslim SC to a modest total of 136 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Opening batsmen Tushar Singh 42 runs and Faiz Rathod 32 runs were the only two batters who managed to get runs on the board.
In reply, Souvenir CC easily chased the target scoring 141 for 4 wickets in 12.4 overs. Akash Parkar made an unbeaten 44 runs, while S. Athawale and Nikhil Patil both contributed 31 runs each to complete the win. Yaseen Shaikh (2 for 32) was the only Muslim SC bowler.
In another match, opening batsman Musheer Ahmed Khan smashed a 56-ball unbeaten 91 runs which powered hosts Islam Gymkhana to a 29 runs victory against Marwari Cricket Club. Islam Gymkhana amassed a massive total of 202 runs for 5 wickets from 20 overs.
Musheer’s solid innings contained 9 shots to the boundary ropes and 3 lofted hits over the fence. He received good support from Sairaj Patil who chipped in with a half century knock of 58 runs (33balls, 4×4, 5×6). Shashank Attarde (3 for 32) got the wickets for Marwari CC.
Marwari CC faced with reaching a stiff target rose to the challenge but were pegged back by some disciplined bowling from Islam Gymkhana bowlers Mohd. Moin Khan (3 for 41), Musheer Ahmed Khan (2 for 13) and Salman Khan (2 for 29) and fell short as they were dismissed for 173 in 19.5 overs. Atharva Ankolekar led the fight back with a fine innings of 91 runs (45balls, 6×4, 7×6) and Siddharth Mhatre scored 26 runs but their efforts went in vain.

PJ Hindu Gymkhana after being put to bat first on their home ground at Marine Lines were all out for 108 runs in 16.5 overs. PJ Hindu Gymkhana has a very strong batting line up but it might be one of those bad days in the office for them as only 4 players could score in two figures with Utkarsh Raut’s 26 at no.7 being the highest score. The bowlers did an excellent job with Fardeen Kazi (3/21 in 4 overs) & Vaibhav Choughule (3/22 in 2.5 overs) being the pick of the lot.
Chasing 109, Muslim United team also lost early wickets with scoreboard reading 2/8 and 5/50 in the 9th over. With the match evenly poised at halfway down the stage, it was opener Kevin Almeida who brought in his experience to carve out a fluent innings of 66* in 50 deliveries anchoring Muslim United Sports Club to a comfortable win. Kevin smashed 7 fours and 3 sixes while he was well supported by Rajesh Tandel (22* off 24 balls) as Muslim United Sports Club crossed the victory line with 4 overs to spare.

In the match played at National CC, Cross Maidan, Sanjeevani Cricket Academy batting first looked in deep trouble at one stage with scoreboard reading 4/31. However, Angrkish Raghuvanshi coming at no.5 completely changed the script of the match with a thundering knock of 143 off 75 balls. Angkrish smashed 17 fours and 8 sixes covering almost every corner of the ground while also stitched a record 212 run stand for the 5th wicket with Sidid Tiwari who scored 84 runs off 80 balls taking the team total to 305/8 in 40 overs.
Nerul Gymkhana in reply could only manage 186/9 with half century from Chaitanya Patil (51 runs) at no.5. The bowlers did a nice job with Nihar Magare being the pick of the lot with 3/28 in 6 overs.

Opening the innings, Aditya Baliwada top scored for his team smashing an impressive 104 runs off 79 balls laced with 16 fours and a six. Rudra Sukale who came at no.3 remained unbeaten on 90* off 65 balls missing out on a well deserved century.
