Vijay CC after being put to bat first at Karnatak, Cross Maidan in Mumbai were all out for 166/10 in 33 overs. Opener Dhruv Brid (37 runs) and Chinmay Mohite gave a solid start to the innings however the team crumbled apart from these two players contributing with their batting. Chinmay scored almost half of his team runs smashing 83 off 74 balls laced with 11 boundaries. From the bowlers, spinner Roopam Yadav with 4/17 in 5 overs was the pick of the lot.

 

United Friends Sports Club were cleaned up for 59 runs as bowler Achilles Perriera gave a flying start sending both the openers back to pavilion without letting them open their accounts. Achilles returned with bowling figures of 4/15 in 7 overs while Akash Dahiya took 3/6 in 4 overs in what turned out to be very impressive bowling performance from Vijay CC bowlers as they won the match by 107 runs.

Played at the Dadaji Konddev Stadium in Thane, Young Maharashtra CC after being put to bat first scored 214/8 in 45 overs. Tushar Kadam from Young Maharashtra was the highest scorer with 54* while rest of the batters contributed with cameos. Defending a modest total of 215, National CC were successfully restricted to 179 all out with fast bowler Ayush Raghuvanshi being the game changer.

Quickster Ayush Raghuvanshi returned with bowling figures of 5/16 in 7 overs taking crucial top and middle order wickets. Sanket Kashte at no.3 scored 54 runs for National CC in an otherwise batting collapse courtesy some excellent bowling by pace Ayush Raghuvanshi helping his team win by 35 runs.

Matunga Gymkhana opting to bat first in their home ground posted a massive total of 426/7 in 38 overs which included 32 penalty runs.  Opening the innings, Kuldeep Yadav and Ishaan Amin gave a good start of 77 runs for the 1st wicket while attacking batsman Ninad Borkar who came at no.4 changed the game with his electrifying knock of 138 runs in mere 77 balls. Ninad smashed 10 fours and 12 sixes while also stitched a crucial partnership with opener Kuldeep who scored an equally impressive 106 off just 56 balls.

Kuldeep smashed 9 fours and 9 sixes in his century. Deepak Bandgar at the middle order scored 55 runs off 33 balls smashing 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Pandurangwadi CC in reply were all out for 137 runs with fast bowler Kunal Gawand being the pick of the lot with 4/35 in 6 overs. Kunal provided crucial breakthroughs while Rahul Ratnaparkhi also chipped in with 3 wickets.

 

In the match between Real Cricket Academy vs Syed Alamdar Cricket Academy at Youth’s Own Union CC in Mumbai. Real CA opting to bat first were all out for 153/10 with opener Lokesh Mistry’s 58 off 79 balls being the highest score. Mahboob Alam with 4/30 in 7.5 overs was the pick of the lot from Alamdar Cricket Academy.

Syed Alamdar Cricket Academy in reply scored 166/6 courtesy a match winning 83 from their middle order wicket-keeper batsman Alizar Siddiqui. Alizar scored 83* off 117 balls laced with 9 boundaries coming at no.5 as Syed Alamndar CA won the match on 1st innings lead.

RN Dosco Cricket Academy in reply scored 250/5 courtesy two game changing half centuries from Captain Aryan Gandhi who scored 77 runs off 90 balls and Shravan Mhatre who scored an unbeaten 77* off 78 balls coming at no.6 as RN Don Bosco won the match on 1st innings lead.

Hrishikesh’s innings included 19 fours and a six. From the bowlers, Darshil and Dharsh Murkute picked up 3 wickets each.

VN Sule Academy in reply batted really well scoring 321/2 in 63 overs. Opener Yash Jadhav and Abhinab Saha indulged in a 202 run stand for the 2nd wicket. Wicket-keeper and opener Yash Jadhav top scored in the match with 142 runs off 168 balls (24 fours) while captain Abhinab Saha remained unbeaten on 127* off 130 balls smashing 20 boundaries en-route his enterprising ton.

Played at the MCA SRT Kandivali Cricket Ground in Mumbai,  Dattu Phadkar XI opting to bat first scored 305 runs in 1st innings with half centuries registered by Dasrath Chavan (60 runs) and Rajsingh Desmukh (85 runs). From the bowlers, Aditya Giri and Ayush Zimare bagged 3 wickets each. Vijay Manjrekar Xi in their 1st innings registered 289 runs with opener Aditya Giri (60 runs) and Jay Jain (52 runs) smashing half centuries. Spinner Ashley D Souza bowled a very impressive spell coming up excellent bowling figures of 5/77 in 19 overs.

Dattu Phadkar XI in their 2nd innings again put up a solid show notching up 324/9 in 64 overs courtesy an impressive hundred by their no.3 batsman Arjun Dani. Arjun played an aggressive knock of 131 runs in 108 balls smashing 14 fours and 10 sixes with a strike rate of 121.30. Arjun dominated the bowlers in every corners of the ground as he displayed a rain of sixes in his quick hundred. Apart from Arjun, wicket-keeper Vedprakash Jaiswal who already has a hundred to his name this season in Mahindra Shield scored 71*off 119 balls batting till the very end.

Vijay Manjrekar XI in reply batted for 14 overs with 9 wickets in hand before the match ended in a draw with Dattu Phadkar XI taking 1st innings lead.

Khar Gymkhana opting to bat first at the iconic CCI Cricket Ground in Mumbai scored 126/10 in 33.5 overs with Hiken Shah’s 35 being the highest score. Experienced campaigner Rohan Raje who has played all the 3 formats for Mumbai Senior team came up with an enterprising spell of fast bowling returning with excellent bowling figures of 5/22 in 7.5 overs. Rohan took important top order wickets providing breakthroughs at regular intervals.

For Payyade, it was a mere formality to chase the score with openers Musheer Khan and Bhupen Lalwani single handedly finishing off the chase. Young Musheer scored 58 off 69 balls while Bhupen remained unbeaten on 57* off 59 balls as Payyade went on to win the match by 9 wickets.

Lifestyle Cricket Academy batting first at Thakur Cricket Ground in Mumbai, Kandivali posted a massive total on board notching up 203/2 in 18 overs. Openers Vinit Mestry and Satyalaksh Jain (57 runs) gave a flying start while Vinit went on to score a blazing 101 off mere 41 balls with 15 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 245.36. Both the batters got retired hurt while rest of the batters chipped in with cameos to help their team cross the 200 run mark.

 

Mumbai Stars in reply could only manage 123/6 in 18 overs with Rajiv Naik (2/22) and Arya Naik(2/25) coming up with tight spells taking 2 wickets each. The rest of the bowlers also remained economical as Lifestyle Academy clinched a dominating win by 80 runs.

National Cricket Club opting to bat first in this 45 overs game posted a very impressive total of 342/5 in 45 overs. Swapnil Pradhan who opened the innings for National CC played a perfect captain’s knock registering a brilliant hundred to push his team towards a massive total. Swapnil went on to score an aggressive knock of 168 runs in just 129 balls which included 18 fours and 7 sixes.

Regal CC in reply were all out for 164 runs with the experienced combination of Shashikant Kadam (4/28) and Rahul Sawant (3/19) inflicting maximum damage with the ball.

Vijay Merchant XI after being put to bat first at Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana were all out for 148 runs in their 1st innings courtesy some tight bowling by Khandu Ragekar XI bowlers. Zaid Patankar with 4/27 in 12 overs was the pick of the lot while Aman Manihar and Himanshi Singh bagged 3 wkts apiece.

Khandu Ragnekar XI in reply scored 191/10 in 55.4 with opener Swaraj Parulkar top scoring with 69 runs off 107 balls (10 fours, 2 sixes). Riday Khandke who came at no.4 was the second highest scorer with 49 runs missing out on a well deserved half century.

Riday scored 49 off 96 balls (9fours, 1 six) while also stitched a crucial partnership with Swaraj. Vijay Merchant XI in 2nd innings managed to score 186 runs all out with Nilay Pawar’s 57 being the highest score. Himanshu Singh was again the pick of the bowlers this time returning with bowling figures of 5/37 in 13.3 overs including 5 maidens.
