New Hindu CC batting first at Khar Gymkhana could not muster a big total on board posting 181/10 in 35.2 overs.  Bipin Waghela at no.4 was the top scorer for New Hindu team as he smashed a crucial half century scoring 54 off 37 balls laced with 8 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from Bipin, Aditya Shemadkar scored 44* off 61 balls at no.7. From the bowlers, it was Tavish Shetty with 4/41 in 8 overs being the pick of the lot. Ankit Mithavala also bagged 3 wickets from JVPG Gymkhana.

Chasing 182, Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana were all out for 175 runs in 38.1 overs in what turned out to be an exciting and close encounter. Yogesh  Dhumal (46 runs) and Yash Pathak (46 runs) were the highest scorers but JVPG eventually fell short by 6 runs. New Hindu CC bowlers showcased a disciplined bowling performance with Akash Kharvi and Jayshal Wadiyal bagging 3 wickets each.

In the match played at Achievers Park, Gurugram, 3G Sports Academy after being put to bat first scored a massive total of 332/8 in 40 overs courtesy their opener Aarush Malhotra who scored an impressive century. Aarush opening the innings dominated the bowlers in every corner of the ground as he went on to score 168 runs off 113 deliveries which included 23 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of close to 150.00.

Pratikhsa Cricket Academy in reply were all out for 111 runs in 28 overs with Tarun Yadav being the pick of the lot returning with bowling figures of 3/9 in 4 overs as 3G Sports Academy won the match by 221 runs.

In the match vs Chandigarh, Humaira Kazi & Riya Chaudhari became the only players from Mumbai to register a century this season as they powered Mumbai towards a thumping win. Mumbai batting first on the match which took place on 6th November notched up a total of 300/6 in 50 overs with opener Riya Chaudhari and Humaira Kazi stitching a record 160 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket.

Riya opening the innings top scored with 129 runs off 131 balls laced with 19 fours and 3 sixes playing the anchors role while Humaira played the counter attacking role to perfection en-route her unbeaten 102* off mere 82 balls laced with 13 boundaries. All-rounder Humaira Kazi now has 239 runs in 4 games at an average of 79.66 alongwith 6 wickets so far making a valuable impact as an all-rounder for Mumbai team.

Chandigarh in reply were all out for 188 runs with Humaira Kazi and Saniya Raut bagging 3 wickets each as Mumbai went on to win the match by 112 runs.

In the match vs team HD, all-rounder Shikhar Mehta from Cricket Xtreme Club played a blinder of an innings to steer his team towards a dominating win. Shikhar went all guns blazing smashing a stunning 144 runs in mere 55 balls. Shikhar who plays top division cricket in Mumbai showcased impressive power hitting hitting 18 fours and 10 sixes in his enterprising knock. What’s more 3 of his sixes went out of the park leaving behind a strong statement.

In the other match of Team Cricket Extreme Club, CXC batting first at Kaveerni Sports Arena Cricket Ground in Mumbai posted a massive total of 216/3 in 20 overs courtesy a 141 run opening partnership between Shwet Patel and Ashwin Balakrishan.  Shwet smashed 107* off mere 58 balls which included 11 fours and 5 sixes while Ashwin scored 63 off 40 balls which had 8 boundaries and a six.

The opposition team Island XI in reply could only muster 132/6 with Manish Solanki returning with game changing bowling figures of 4/9 in 4 overs. The spell from Manish certainly restricted the opposition team onto the backfoot as they went on to win the match by 84 runs. 

Kutchii Pumas after being put to bat first at Fatima Cricket Ground in Mumbai, Vidyavihar posted a massive total of 197/6 in 20 overs. Opener Nirav Chedda top scored the innings with an aggressive half century smashing 74 off 49 deliveries which included 8 fours and 5 sixes. Nirav alongwith Lavesh Mehra who came at no.3 stitched a record 142 run stand for the 2nd wicket with Lavesh scoring an equally aggressive 68 runs off 43 balls laced with 9 fours and 2 sixes. From the bowlers, Hemang Vasu with 3/37 was the pick of the lot.

Raging Rhinos in reply were all out for 133 runs courtesy a clinical bowling performance from the Kuthcii Pumas. Mehul Vira bowled a wonderful spell of 3/14 in 4 overs while all-rounder Lavesh Mehra who scored a half century also picked 3 wickets in his 4 overs. Kutchi Pumas won the match by 67 runs and Lavesh Mehra was declared ‘man of the match”. Raviraj Shetty who took 1/27 in 4 overs from Raging Rhinos was given performer of the match award.

Ghatkopar Jolly Gymkhana after being put to bat first at DPC, Matunga were all out for 169 runs in 33.5 overs with Vedansh Patel’s 30 being the highest score at the middle order. It was a disciplined bowling performance from the Prabhu Jolly bowlers with Anuj Giri being the pick of the lot with 3/23 in 7 overs.

 

Chasing 170, Prabh Jolly Young Cricketers chased down the score in 31.5 overs winning the match by 6 wickets. The openers gave a good start especially Arbaaz Shaikh who scored a match winning 82*off 98 balls. It was a innings of hardwork as he anchored the chase with lots of running between the wickets smashing only 4 fours and a six. Anuj who took 3 wickets also scored 36 runs as Prabhu Jolly Young Cricketers clinched a commendable win.

Accenture Team after being put to bat first at Fatima Cricket Ground in Mumbai posted a very competitive total on board scoring 177/5 in 20 overs. Opener Leon set the stage with a solid 53 off 44 balls while Pratik Surve was the game changer coming up with an aggressive 77 off mere 31 balls, an innings which included 5 fours and 7 sixes at a strike rate of almost 250.00! From the bowlers, Meer with 3 wickets and Amit with 2 wickets were the pick of the lot.

Chasing 178, Yes Cricket Club gave a very good fight but eventually fell short by 9 runs as they scored 168/6 in 20 overs at the end of the gameplay. The highlight of their chase was a brilliant 82 by Daiwat Rane who came at no.3 and almost pulled off the match with his enterprising batting smashing 8 fours and 2sixes. Subhash with an unbeaten 30* off 19 balls was the 2nd highest scorer. Pratik Surve certainly owned the match as the all-rounder was their pick of the bowlers too taking 2/31 in 4 overs as Accenture went on to win by 9 runs.

Pratik Surve for his all round performance was declared man of the match.

Palghar Dahanu TSA after being put to bat first at Islam Gymkhana managed to score a total of 204/10 in 36 overs courtey some tight bowling by Musavir Khote and Hashim Sayyed who bagged 3 wickets each. From PDTSA, 19yr old Rugved More played an impressive knock vs a team far more experienced and senior to him.  Coming at no.3, Rugved scored almost half of the team runs smashing a solid 93 off 85 balls laced with 7 fours and 6 sixes.

Chasing 205 for Islam Gymhana seemed like a mere formality for them on their homeground especially when they had the experienced combination of Kaustubh Pawar and Mihir Agarwal (43 runs) putting on 120 runs for the 1st wicket. Mumbai Ranji Opener Kaustubh anchored the chase with his natural strokeplay smashing 77 off 62 balls laced with 10 fours and 4 sixes as Islam Gymkhana went on to win the match by 6 wkts and almost 12 overs to spare.

Goregaon Sports Club opting to bat first on their homeground posted n impressive total of 274/8 in 45 overs. Opener Jiniv Joshi top scored for his team smashing a solid 60 off 66 balls laced with 7 boundaries. Apart from him, Kinshuk Rai (49 runs), Shrideep Mangela (35 runs) and Abhishek Faria (34*) contributed with crucial knocks. From the Parsee Gymkhana bowlers, quickster Shivam Malhotra with 3/55 was the pick of the lot.

Parsee Gymkhana who boast of an experienced line up were reduced to 258 runs in 44.4 overs courtesy some top order breakthroughs by the experienced Dinesh Salunkhe followed by a match winning bowling performance by left arm spinner Akshay Darekar who has close to 200 wickets for Maharashtra at Domestic Level returned with impactful bowling figures of 5/49 in 9 overs cleaning up Parsee Gymkhana’s middle and lower middle order. It was a clinical bowling performance by Goregaon SC boys as they won the match by 16 runs.

MIG CC batting first on their home ground batted really well accumulating a total of 337 runs in 45 overs. Left-handed Kevin Almeida top scored the innings for MIG smashing an impressive 121 off 131 balls. The opener crafted a solid innings laced with 17 boundaries and a six. Apart from Kevin, middle order players Swapnil Salvi (51 runs) and Suryansh Shedge (75 runs) stitched a 129 run stand together to further put MIG in a strong position.

Victory CC in reply were all out for 238 runs in 41.5 overs with Varun Deshpande at no.5 being the lone fighter for his team smashing an aggressive century. Varun scored 113 runs off 111 balls laced with 12 fours and 5 sixes as he kept on playing his natural game despite wickets tumbling from the other end. From the bowlers, quickster Nikhil Date with 2/60 and left arm spinner Anurag Singh with 3/30 were pick of the lot for MIG as they won the match by 107 runs.
