Opener Mihir Agarwal scored a solid half century smashing 57 runs off 84 balls laced with 6 boundaries. The bowlers did a tight job with Vinayak Pillai being the pick of the lot with 3/25 in his 8 overs.
Defending a modest total of 200, the pressure was certainly more on Islam Gymkhana team but they delivered under pressure restricting Wellington CC to 195 runs. Wellington Cricket Club gave tough fight but eventually fell short by a narrow margin of 5 runs ending as runners up to the tournament. Spinner Bhavesh Patel with 3/28 in 6 overs was the pick of the lot from Islam Gymkhana.
Islam Gymkhana won the finals by 5 runs and become the Champions of Madhav Mantri Tournament C & D Division.

The league match between Sigma Sports and Recreation Academy and 3G Sports Academy 1, of the First U-19 Late Shree Mata Anguri Devi Memorial Cricket Tournament, was held on 4th February 2022, Friday, at LetsBase Suntan Greens, Gurgaon. The coin was tossed and Sigma Sports and Recreation Academy won the toss and elected to bat first.
The openers of the Sigma Sports and Recreation Academy came in to bat and were unable to give a good start to their team. They lost their 1st wicket in 11.4 overs on a score of 29. As a result, within the next 14 runs, the Sigma Sports and Recreation Academy lost 9 wickets and could only manage to score 43 runs in 21 overs. It was 3G Sports Academy 1’s, Right-arm Off Break bowler, Krishna Kumar who bowled an amazing spell. He bowled 5 overs, giving away 5 runs and bagging 7 wickets, which proved to be very helpful in restricting the opponents to a low score.

SBSC boys opting to bat first at Pushpanjali Cricket Ground in Borivali, Mumbai posted a total of 150/7 in 15 overs. After losing some quick top order wickets, it was Harshal Jadhav at no.5 who played an impactful innings of 73 runs. Harshal faced mere 27 deliveries smashing 6 fours and 7 sixes at a strike rate of 270.00+ to push his team towards a healthy total.
Performers CC in reply chased down the total in 13.4 overs courtesy a brilliant finisher knock from Sourabh Singh scored 49* off 22 balls. Sourabh came in at a time when such knock was the need of the hour and he rightly delivered smashing 4 fours and 4 sixes to help his team cross the victory line.
Performers CC won the match by 6 wickets while Sourabh Singh who took a wicket and scored 49* was declared man of the match.

Mulund Mavricks batting first vs RR Cricket Academy posted a massive total of 280/8 in 30 overs. Opener Kunal Torwandkar smashed an impressive century as he went on to score 1058 runs in mere 75 balls. Kunal was nicely supported by middle order players Omneel (48 runs) and Jai Bhoir (34 runs) who chipped in with crucial cameos. Played at Omtex ICWC Ground in Saphale, Mumbai, PDTSA XI after opting to bat first posted a total of 326/10 in 66.5 overs. Opening batsman, Captain and Wicket-Keeper of PDTSA Team, Prateek Yadav scored almost 60% of the team total single handedly as he went on to score a brilliant knock of 229 runs off 187 balls. Prateek continued his natural onslaught despite wickets tumbling from the other end smashing 27 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 122.00!
Omtex ICWC team in reply fought well scoring 309 with half centuries from Dipesh Manave (60 runs), Shreyash Hirlekar (94 runs) and Aayush Vaity (57 runs). Omtex gave a tough fight but eventually fell short of 17 runs as PDTSA won the match by 20 runs on 1st innings lead. From PDTSA, Nikhil Kini bowled a superb spell of 5/92 in 22 overs which played an equally pivotal role in the team’s win.
RKB Cricket Academy opting to bat first at Dome Cricket Ground in New Delhi posted a healthy total of 350/4 in 40 overs. Wicket-keeper opening batsman Keshav Dalal proved to be the game changer as he went on to smash an aggressive 169 off 119 balls, an impact innings which included 22 fours and 6 sixes at strike rate of 142.02. Keshav was well supported by Trinav Kumar (90 runs off 69 balls) with whom he stitched 212 runs for the 2nd wicket.
SB Youth Cricket Club in reply were all out for 205 runs with opener Saransh Parashar being the top scorer with 85 runs. From the bowlers, Akash Yadav with 2/39 was the pick of the lot. RKB Cricket Academy won the match by 139 runs and Keshav Dalal was declared ‘man of the match’

On 29th January 2022, a 25 over match was organized at the DPS Cricket Ground, Meerut. It was played between Waqas 11 and Team Kesari. Winning the toss, Waqas 11 elected to bat 1st. The openers, Rizwan Bhai and Mohd. Tauseef, gave a good start to their team and had a partnership of 63 runs. As a result, the Waqas 11 scored, 209 runs in 25 overs losing 5 wickets. It was the Right Handed Batter, Rizwan Bhai, who scored 91 runs off 73 balls, with a strike rate of 124.66. His innings included 7 fours and 3 sixes. For the Kesari 11 team, Kasim and Nikhil Suran bowled well. Both the bowlers got 2-2 wickets.
Chasing the target, The Team Kesari’s openers, Irshad Malik and Ritesh Taliyan, gave their team a slow, but a good start. But the Team Kesari, still fell short of runs in the end and as a result, they were restricted on a score of 181 runs for 4 wickets in 25 overs. Ankit Gupta scored 47 runs off 43 balls, hitting 4 fours. The Waqas 11 won the match by 28 runs. Rizwan Bhai was awarded the Player of the Match for his innings.

Ved almost batted out entire innings getting run out in the final over but not before smashing 21 fours and a six at a strike rate of 167.09. Ved was nicely supported by his opening partner who scored 38* off 45 balls playing the anchors role.
