Victory CC defeated the mighty Parsee Gymkhana in the quarter finals of the Purshottam Shield. Victory CC set a total of 306 in 45 overs. Yash Nahar and Shashwad Jagtap both notched up crucial half centuries together. With a competitive total to defend, Parsee Gymkhana went off with the chase. Nikhil Patil scored 64 as Vaibhav Kalamkar scored 66. But unfortunately their efforts were in vain. Parsee Gymkhana were bowled out for 280 in the 44th over. Victory CC won the game by 26 runs and secured their place in the semi finals.

After winning the toss, DPC elected to chase which in hindsight was not the right decision as Parkophene hammered the DPC bowlers at more than 10 runs per over. Parkophene scored a total of 482 in 45 over losing just 6 wickets. Ex-International player Tanmay Mishra scored an emphatic 159 as his teammate Shreeraj Gharat hammered 144. Apart from this mammoth partnership, Prasad Pawar notched up a quick fire and an unbeaten 88 at the back end of the innings.

The 3rd edition of Ajit Ghosh Memorial Trophy Women’s T20 Cricket Tournament under the Aegis of Mumbai Cricket Association organized by Sporting Union Club and Kalyandas Memorial Sports Foundation arranged a match between rival factions Glorious CC and Sporting Club Thane at Shivaji Park Gymkhana. Glorious CC entered the field and took over the reins of batting. The team scored 115/8 in 18 overs. Shraddha Shetty scored a tremendous half century up the order. She was well supported by Mithali Mhatre who scored 39 runs taking the team to a competitive total.
As the run chase began, Sporting Club Thane found themselves losing timely wickets. Sporting Club Thane closed the match with a score of 103/6. Mithale Mhatre contributed with the ball as well and picked up 2 wickets alongside Samruddhi Ghare for Glorious CC. Ultimately, Glorious CC successfully defended the target by 12 runs. For her half century, Shraddha Shetty was awarded the Woman of the Match.

Riva Chaudhari from Vijay CC hit half a century with a score of 56 runs but the lone warrior had no support. On November 15, Sporting Union Club locked horns against Vijay Cricket Club at Shivaji Park Gymkhana. Batting first, Vijay Cricket Club posted 108/6 in 16 overs. Opening batter Riya Chaudhary top-scored with 32 off 28, including three boundaries. On the other hand, Mansi Patil was the most successful bowler for Sporting Union Club as she claimed 17/2 in four overs.
In response, Sporting Union Club almost chased down the total, scoring 99/5 in 16 overs. They fell shy of just nine runs in the end. Siddheshwari Pagdhare led the run chase from the front with a 30-ball 34. However, she failed to take her team home. For Vijay Cricket Club, Batul Pareira and Jagravi Pawar accounted for two wickets each. Early in the day, Pawar scored an undefeated run-a-ball 23, batting at number three.

Batting first, Sportsfield Cricket Club posted 127/8 in 20 overs, thanks to Aachal Valanju’s half-century. Valanju opened the batting and smashed 50 off 44, including six boundaries. On the other hand, Lakisha Labdhe was the lone wicket-taker for Sporting Union Club as she claimed 22/4 in three overs.
In reply, Sporting Union Club scored 91/7, losing the match by 36 runs. Mahak Mistri top-scored with 28 off 40, after Siddheshwari Pagdhare, provided a steady start with 23 off 17. For Sportsfield Cricket Club, Samruddhi Rawool was the pick of the bowlers as she scalped 15/2 in four overs.

Riding on twin half-centuries from Janhavi Kate and Jagravi Pawar, Vijay Cricket Club posted 179/3 in 20 overs. Kate, who opened the batting, muscled 67 off 41, including 11 boundaries. On the other hand, Pawar, batting at number three, blasted 66 not out off 45, including eight boundaries and a six. For Dahisar Sports Club, Samiya Husain, Shrushti Shilkar, and Pranali Redekar chipped in with one scalp each.
Chasing a mammoth 180, Dahisar Sports Club were reduced to 104/8 in 20 overs. They lost the match by 75 runs. Radhika Thakkar (29 runs off 29 balls) and Priyanka Golipkar (31 runs off 26 balls) fought hard but failed to see their side home. For Vijay Cricket Club, Kate wreaked havoc, picking up 11/4 in four overs.
